Hello Team,
The link below is a rough draft of my video presentation. I will continue to edit the slides during the course. Any feed back is welcomed. I sure would like to collect some images for my presentation. Any suggestions? :)
My storyboard for this class is titled Open Source.

Brigit,
ReplyDeleteI viewed your draft of project storyboard; good topic and initial phase of development; I was confused by the additional slides and info that followed your slide transitions, but like the method that you are initiating; looking forward to viewing more; fyi, mine is posted on my blog and links to slideshare as well.
Best,
David
Thanks David,
ReplyDeleteThis is just a rough draft of my presentation. I will be editing the slides during the course. I just can not figure out how to add more information on the slides. I am using Windows Movie Maker....any suggestions.

ReplyDeleteHey Brigit. I used to use Windows Movie Maker until I started using PhotoStory 3. It's a free download and is, in my opinion, much more user friendly than Movie Maker. What you would do in PhotoStory is add images (find pictures related to your topic from Google and save them to your computer). Insert them into PhotoStory, and PhotoStory gives you the ability to add text to the images. What I usually do is create my slides in PowerPoint and then save each slide as a .jpeg or .gif. and then insert those slides into PhotoStory. If you want to check out some of the videos that I've done using PhotoStory, check me out on YouTube. I have six videos. Type in MsJGreen83 to view, if you're interested.

ReplyDeleteJessica,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion about PhotoStory. I had not yet heard of this, and was wondering how I could implement powerpoint into a video editing software. I am going to look into it, but may need more guidance from you in the future. Thanks again!
Brigit,
You seem to have a great start to creating a layout of your storyboard for your presentation.I like how you established what open source is and how it is applied in distance education. The tips from Jessica seem like a great idea for integrating video clips. What types of videos do you plan to use in your presenation?
Tiffany
